The unmoving lungs of the Earth.

I am sitting in my favourite chair with a cuppa for company.

These smoky mountains are my daily dose of motivation. This is the view during monsoons. Once the monsoons recede, these green lands turn into golden waves. And as the summers dawn, this place is just brown and hot. But still my favourite.

Those who stay close to mountains, would completely agree to this- Mountains with their unwavering presence have an impact that stays with you forever. But everybody knows they do much more than just stay put.

Although these forests seem silent from afar, they are teeming with life and action, with all sorts of creatures and so many stories waiting to be unfolded.

These mountains are not just loaded with oxygen, but also with love of families, sadness and death of a fellow animal, and a whole another world.

Sadness is an understatement if these trees lose their homes, and if the animals there are forced to stray closer to humans only to be hunted to the ground. We have the right to choose, so why choose to be monsters?

There’s a whole world out there, waiting to be explored by someone. It could be me, or it could be you. But whoever it is, shouldn’t forget to safeguard it too.
